Ever wonder what becomes of a super group's old road gear and instruments? My
husband's business partner and good friend, Darryl, made a deal through his friend Dale in the summer of 2000 to buy a warehouse full of old gear and used
instruments from the band Genesis. Darryl hired my husband, Gil, in June of 2000 to help with inventory and take pictures of all the
items for the purpose of selling it all on eBay. They went to Fisher Lane Farm Studio in England to sort and store the gear.
This is the collection of pictures they took while they were there,
mostly Genesis gear.
Then, the following July 2001, I got to go along with Darryl and Gil after the auctions at eBay had ended to help ship the gear to the new owners all over the world.
You can see all the pictures we took while we were there, only two
months before 9/11, here. We did a lot
more sightseeing when I was there!
